After the job
What people ask us once the pan is in.
- How long before I can tile?
- Usually the next day. The pan is walkable about two hours after we finish, and that is when the flood test can start.
- Can I shower yet?
- Not yet. The tile still has to go on over it and be sealed. The pan is the waterproof floor underneath, not the finish.
- What does the guarantee cover?
- Our own workmanship. If the pan fails because of how we built it, we come back and fix it. Damage done to it afterwards — a nail, a ladder set down inside it — is not something we can cover.
- Did it pass inspection?
- Our pans pass any city inspection in San Diego County. If an inspector asks for something, send us a photo of what they wrote and we will look at it.
- Something looks wrong. What do I do?
- Text Francisco a photo before anyone tiles over it. Checking now is far cheaper than opening it up later.

Why this matters
